Once connected, you can view your points and use an invitation code to invite friends.

Click the “Install” button, select “Mac OS” from the list, Download and install the EMC client.

Unzip the EMC client installation package. Open EMC application.

If you see the notification box shown above the image, please proceed to “System Preferences.”

Open System Preferences -> Security & Privacy, and check “Anywhere“.

If there is no “Anywhere” option in the privacy & security interface.

The following command line needs to be executed:

$ sudo spctl --master-disable 

After Command execution is completed, restart the computer. The “Anywhere” option should now be available.

If the application still does not respond, you need to drag the EMC client program to the Applications folder to give it the necessary permissions.Open the Mac Terminal and enter the following command line:

 xattr -cr /Applications/EMC.app

Open the EMC client program.

The EMC testnet currently only supports NVIDIA and AMD GPUs for mining. Therefore, Mac OS users can only use the AI CPU mining mode.

Initial Setup for CPU Mining

The EMC Client interface defaults to CPU mode, as shown in the following image.

EMC Client will automatically detect the local CPU core hardware resources, complete initialization, and node connection status. The image above indicates successful initialization and node connection.

Note: Ensure sufficient gas fee before starting CPU mining; Otherwise, an error message “Insufficient Gas fee” will appear.

EMC Client CPU Mining

After claiming the gas fees, return to the EMC client to start CPU mining.

EMC clients usually perform CPU mining automatically. The client must stay running to manage the calculation and distribution of mining rewards.
